WORKERS' COMPENSATION attorney

For injuries on or after July 1, 2014, the Tennessee General legislature has enacted the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Reform Act, which means that an employee must file his/her claim in the newly-created Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims within the Tennessee Department of Labor’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. The parties can no longer file a lawsuit in Circuit or Chancery Court.

At Arnold & Arnold, our number one priority is representing our client in accordance with the law. When representing our clients on any workers’ compensation matter, our attorneys will promptly respond and provide advice on the law and options for moving forward. For all parties involved, it is always best when workers’ compensation matters are resolved quickly, as it saves time and money.

Employer Training in Workers' Compensation

In addition to litigation, Arnold & Arnold provides in-house training to employers, workers’ compensation carriers, and third-party administrators related to workers’ compensation laws, procedures, and risk management/loss mitigation. Our attorneys have thoroughly studied the Reform Act for injuries occurring on or after July 1, 2014. We have already delivered training seminars for our our clients on the Reform Act, and we are currently scheduling additional seminars. Some of our seminars have been approved for continuing education credits by state agencies. Attendees learn the intricacies of the workers’ compensation laws and discuss valuable insights to help run a better, more profitable business.

We Are On Your Side

For injuries before July 1, 2014, Tennessee takes a dual approach with regard to workers’ compensation claims. The parties are initially required to exhaust the administrative process before a lawsuit can be filed in Court. At Arnold & Arnold, we zealously represent our clients during the administrative proceedings and appeals in front of the Tennessee Department of Labor. We also represent our clients in workers’ compensation claims in Tennessee Courts and the Tennessee Court of Appeals after the administrative process is exhausted.

The attorneys at Arnold & Arnold specialize in workers’ compensation cases. We have a thorough knowledge and understanding of workers’ compensation laws as well as the experience to achieve optimal results for our clients.
